Home Sweet Home

I am back home for winter break! How much have waited for this clean bed sheet and a 'cleaner' room of my own. No cooking or laundry! Ok, my mom is not a maid, but I do get to do less chores when I'm home...yay! Riding back home wasn't exactly easy because we left Lubbock later than usual so we spent most of times driving in the dark (which is not exactly my favorite), but I got to drive my dad's van Honda Odyssey for a little a while. That was a lot fun than I imagined.

So couple of exciting things happened or about to happen to be more exact:

- I passed Monetary Theory with a B! After the final exam, I kind of freaked out thinking that I would fail because it was so ridiculously hard. I was praying for at least a C so I could avoid retaking the class next year but was a B instead. I couldn't be happier because it was perhaps the most difficult class offered at Tech and only top 10% in that class gets anywhere between A or B. I'll take my grade without hesitation. Thank you, Dr. Gilbert - I get my Dean's List now.

- My boyfriend is coming in Sunday! I am so thankful that he is willing to travel to the other side of Texas to be with me for a little bit. Due to his ability to read this post, I can't mention the present I got for him, but I'm really hoping that he will like it. I am certainly beginning to get curious with my present because he wouldn't tell me a thing except that it's hard object (I'll let you know...). I am slowly making plans for the week that includes some road trip and relaxation around the area. I'm so indecisive on what to do!!!

Lastly, I am looking forward to some quality time with my books. I never get to have the chance to read leisurely during school year and that upsets me because there were couple of books I wanted to read. I'll finally have the time!
