One step closer to San Diego

For the longest time Z and I have been wanting to travel somewhere outside of Texas for spring break. On a record, this will be my 3rd time spending spring break with my boyfriend. On most occasions, we stayed in Houston or general Texas area. It wasn't boring at all, if that's what you are thinking, but we wanted to do something different when we still had the opportunity. Plus, I used to love traveling until college life began, and my main trip was within Texas (except my 2 week traveling to England for a choir trip in Summer 2007).

After a much discussion, we decided to pursue our first official travel to San Diego, California. Initially, I suggested going to San Francisco because I have always wanting to be there; however, San Diego was a much wiser choice after factoring in finance, transportation, and limited time frame. I couldn't be happier with this choice, though. Our initial research has already shown numerous places we could visit, including the Lego Land (that was Z's first choice).

I reserved my round trip flight from Lubbock to Houston tonight, and I feel like we are just one step closer to our spring break plan. I am utterly thrilled and, sadly, waiting for spring break to come much quicker now. I guess it'll give me the motivation to work harder until then.
