Our Wedding: Before the “I Do.”

Although I can’t speak for Z’s feeling that morning, I can tell you I was quite nervous.  Z and I haven’t seen each other since the early afternoon before, and we were not planning on meeting before the ceremony like many couples do.  I wanted to keep the element of mystery.  I knew Z was hanging out with friends and families in the Billiards Room located on the same floor of our wedding.  I stayed all day in my suite hanging out with my girlfriends and getting ready for the “big day.”  Irene and I had ordered room service for our breakfast and had a very intimate morning of friendship.  It didn’t hit me quite much in the morning, but as the make up and hair artists began to appear, I was gradually getting nervous.

My beautiful mother helped me get dressed, while the rest of the family and close friends waited in the common area.  Pinning flowers for my family was exciting and surreal.  I was about to get married, and the overwhelming ride of emotions finally hit my family too.
