Our sweet Lilly is turning 2 today! Lilly is a rescue that we adopted 6 months ago, and we are not certain about her actual birthday. We decided that the day we brought her home would be her birthday from now on. She was believed to be around 1 year and 5 months when we adopted her.
Lilly, thank you for all the joy you have brought to us! We are so incredibly lucky and blessed that we found you that random day we decided to visit the shelter. You are our best spur-of-the-moment decision of our lives. Always be the cheerful, smiley, and the happy dog that we have known thus far! Mommy is sorry to not be around on your first birthday, but I am thinking of you more than ever today!
