#FBF New Year's Eve

For those who are clueless about this hashtag ordeal, especially #FBF (there are many others, but let's start with one), it means Flashback Friday.  I know...the generations that come up with these hashtags and the generations that actually use them are ridiculous.

#FBF gave me a perfect excuse to post about the New Year's Eve, because quite frankly, I would never be able to find other reasons to post these holiday-filled pictures when the month of February is already drifting away.  Speaking of which, why is time going so fast?  I am not ready for March, but I am ready for spring.

If you may recall, we spent the New Year's Eve away from St. Louis home.  We spent the entire Christmas season in Colorado, which is a neat thing we were able to do ourselves without family and relatives.  Don't get me wrong, we absolutely love spending the holidays with our families, but we also discovered that it was neat to spend it to ourselves, our little family.  Of course, little family of ours included Lilly.  She was a trooper during our 13-hour road trip to Colorado.

We spent almost equal amount of the holiday in Denver, where our friend (Roxi) graciously hosted us, and in the mountains for snowboarding.  I will post about my snowboarding experience some other time, but the Facebook world already knows how much my 28-year old body struggled.

The pictures taken next a tree was taken on our 2nd year wedding anniversary, December 28th, which was spent with Roxi at a cool Denver restaurant.

I bought this cute, adorable doggy sweater from Petsmart a while ago and was a perfect outfit for the party.  Lilly, however, hated it.  She got a lot of attention from people, though, she loved it eventually.

The little apartment was quickly filled with a bunch of medical residents and their spouses, and friends.

We rang the year 2015 with lots of smiles, smooches, laughs, and hugs.  Cheers to 2015!
