We accidentally killed a baby lizard today

While I was doing my laundry, I heard my roommate Candace screaming. Then she started screaming that a lizard was in the kitchen. I began to panic..."what if we can't catch this lizard?". The thought of a living lizard in my house gave me a chill. I ran to the kitchen witnessing Candace's horrified look. Lizard was doing its best not to get caught - hidding under the drapes, behind the refrigerator. You bet that lizard was freaking out too.
After 15 minutes of screaming and chasing, we barely caught this little creature...until Candace accidentally crushed his neck (or windpipe, who knows). It wasn't our intention to kill it; we just wanted to guide the lizard back to outdoor.

Our mission failed horribly. I felt sorry for the baby lizard as I was watching it slowing down its breaths. I put it by the tree in our front yard.

Very sad day.

  1. I didn't scream THAT much.... lol. But yes, it was incredibly sad... I didn't mean to kill it. :(
