Grad school life

Obviously it has been a while since I wrote my last post. I’m trying really hard to think what I have done during those days, any eventful things that happened in my life; unfortunately, I can’t think of anything.

That doesn’t mean I’m not enjoying life. Curriculum in grad school, or education class more precisely, is completely different from my usual business management & economics class. There is no right or wrong in my current classes, and it’s an opportunity, every day, to learn about other perspectives & discuss what goes on in higher ed. Sometimes it’s interesting, sometimes not. I wish there was a better way to explain this feeling.

My day consist of work, event programming and leading, class, house chores, and homework. I’m still getting used to the idea of writing, especially in research writing, but I’m starting to get the grip of it. Honestly, it’s quite engaging once you find the right topic.

Currently, I am researching two different topics at the same time, and I could spend hours looking for the right ones. One is about understanding the history and the impact students with learning disabilities bring to higher education. Other one is about transfer students from four-year institution to another four-year institution. In fact, it gets quite fascinating. I simply I had more time to actually sit down and write about it.

So, here is my uneventful post, which ended up being really long. Sorry if you had to read all this. I begin bobbling my head from drowsiness around 9pm but end up sleeping around 1am every night. Then I get up at 7am. I STILL wish I was a morning person, even though that will never happen.

Grad school life = endless tiredness, trying to interact with geeky people, no social life, & research/writing
