Welcoming the autumn weather

I was completely shocked by Denton’s polar opposite temperature as I pulled into my apartment today. My body was so used to Denton’s ongoing heat and Galveston’s even-hotter heat over the weekend, so an evening of 75 degree was a big surprise, but a pleasant one.

I am excited as I discovered that temperature will remain in the 70s, low 80 at the most, for rest of this week. I am beyond stoked. This is the kind of weather I have been looking forward to for months, and it seems to be coming now.

While I spent the weekend in Galveston, Z & I made a day trip to Houston Galleria Mall for shopping. Quite frankly, I had no intention of buying anything, except that I was carrying two $10 reward cards from Gap & wanted to see if there was any sale going on.

I ended up purchasing a sweater and a black skirt (perfect for office look) for a really good deal, on top of using my rewards. I also bought necklace and earrings from American Eagle to complement my outfits. All in all, it was a great day for shopping with reasonable spending. I had always loved shopping days with unexpected great merchandises.  

I can’t wait to throw on some scarf and sweaters!
