Lilly's fur

I am back on the road again - Austin, TX round 2.  It's a fun mid-size city to travel to but driving for several hours and being away from my loved ones are not always cool.  I worked in my office for about 3 hours and then spent the lunch time with Lilly before I got on the road to Austin today.  

Lilly got a full body shave again this past weekend so she has been a little depressed.  Some areas of her body started to get matted again, which are also places she doesn't like us to touch for grooming.  We had to let the groomer shave off so we can let her start fresh.  Z was particularly saddened by this decision because he loved calling Lilly the 'fur ball'.  We had Lilly for about 6+ months now, but being the first dog owners, we continue to make mistakes and improve our way through.  We certainly didn't want Lilly to go back to being 'naked' again, but our inconsistent grooming habits (especially her being part poodle which requires daily grooming) led to this outcome.  We hope that we do a better job keeping her groomed from head to toe from now on!

We also ordered a Texas Tech jersey online for Lilly to wear.  She looked terribly adorable in her all-red jersey, but we weren't sure if she enjoyed wearing one; she seemed to tolerate it.  :)
