I spent a lovely evening with my friend Yolanda @ the Murchison Performing Arts Center on the UNT campus, where A Cappella Choir (kind of like University Choir at Texas Tech) performed their fall concert.
It was truly indeed a reminiscing moment for me, from all the rehearsals & adrenaline rush I partook prior to each concert. (Could you believe I was last on stage in May 2009?!) There was an amazing rush of excitement in me when the first pitch pierced throughout the recital hall.
Really great music program has been continuing for decades at this school, & I feel privileged again to be surrounded by talented musicians in this exquisitely-built arts center for the next two years of grad life…although I no longer sing. :)
