While during the stay in Houston and Dallas have been wonderful, the trip itself was rather more frustrating than usual. After Erika's unusual gear shift lock the day I left and my suitcase being broken, on our way back to Houston, we (me, Z, and his mother) also went through flat-tire incident on the freeway. With only few hours left until my departure to Lubbock, I started to panic (although I didn't quite reveal it at that time). However, Z have been really great about dealing with the situation and promised me I will get there on time- and he did keep his promise. I love that he was so calm throughout the whole situation and really appreciate the way he handled things. I guess I have not even said 'thank you' yet to him...I should say that, tonight.
I wasn't able to sit on my assigned seat in the plane. The man who wrongfully or mistakenly sat on my seat refused to acknowledge his mistake. So I sat at his seat.
I need a new suitcase.
Nevertheless, I am back in Lubbock with all the troubles I went through to get here. I already miss my boyfriend and all the things we got to do together for 9 days.
We went shopping. We went swimming(and hot tub!). We watched movies. We wandered around. We visited places. We had great conversations. We had some great food. We had our first road trip. We got to know each other more and became closer. And we were together the entire time. I loved it. :)
Life is great. :)
