- This morning, I made myself a veggie+turkey bacon omelet(I don't have an official name yet). Not exactly the most healthy way of eating when you consider an omelet made up of 3 eggs, 3 turkey bacon strips (by the way, they're pretty good), diced onions, mushrooms, cheese, and parsley on the top. I am trying to make more healthy foods. It was nice and big though. And I liked it. ^^

- Bad news from work - I am down to one student for summer II. A switch between two students were scheduled to be made according to one of the counselors. The switch did occur, however, I never received the new student because the student decided not to use TECHniques (which I found out on my own). In a way, I gave up a student for nothing. The counselor was not willing to return my initial student, so the new tutor got to have him. If I was in his position, I would have made sure that the switch was a viable option before making the decision (At least, he could've asked the student if she/he really planned on using the program before executing the decision). It, however, ended up becoming a blame-war. I'd say that this mishap occurred due to ineffective management style which I see so often in this world. I could complain forever, but I believe there are so many people out there who are incapable to execute their supervisory role effectively. Now I have one very little paid job with a non-paid internship. This summer is surely a tough one.
- I got pedicure done for the first time. For your information, I am not a big believer in manicure/pedicure, never saw the point of spending money on something you can do it on your own. However, due to peer pressure by girlfriends, I gave in and got it done. Verdict: ok. Not sure if it will ever become something that I enjoy. Granted, they gave me foot/leg massage which was nice in addition to other leisurely treatment. Still...$30 plus tips, let's wait until I have an actual job.

- I wish my friends could stop complaining. Whether the complaints include wrongfully executed pedicure (in her opinion) or missing her boyfriend whom she just saw, the complaints have just been too much for me lately. Even though I sadly admit to my pitiful complaints about little things in life, I try to accept most things the way it is. So what? It's just a pedicure that will disappear in a month or a restaurant you thought it was good but didn't fit your taste. You will see your boyfriend again (remember the fun times, not the 'goodbye' moment). Just let it go, people. No need to complain all day long that is just a very small part of your life.
Perhaps, today just hasn't been that great. We all have bad days - today was just one of them. But I wish people that I know can be a better people than today.
