Day 5 in Houston

It has already been 5 days since I landed my feet on Houston territory. I'm rather sad to think that days go so fast but am enjoying all the time I can get with my boyfriend. Even though we decided not to go to the beach, it was great the fact that we get to spend some of our summertime together.

The game "Sims3" became a new addition to my Houston visit. I love playing this computer game since the original version but didn't have the right computer to play it. Thankfully, Z downloaded this for my entertainment. He also began his new love for this game and is now playing it every chance he can get.

Discovering restaurants and trying new foods have always been our favorite activities and continue to venture out during my stay here. On day 3 - me, Z, and his roommate paid a visit to Korean restaurant. I was really happy to know that they loved my country's food and be able to enjoy the taste with me.

Day 4 - Z and I visited Houston Zoo. Z has never been to this particular zoo even though he lived here for a year now. I love the outdoor so this was a good opportunity. One bad thing about Houston weather is the scorching heat with the humidity. This leads to a very very nasty weather. Shower becomes pointless as you walk out of the door - you feel the sweat, right away.

Despite the bird poop on my head, the nasty summer heat, and the exhausted animals (from heat), we still enjoyed the variety of animals. It was a day for us to spend some time together, just the two of us. :-)

PS- Our next trip is Dallas to visit Z's older brother and his wife. His mom will also be in town for the weekend. :)
