It only took us 30 minutes to move my stuff from the truck to the storage. I think my family is a group of warriors. We were quite fierce with the moving process.
We stopped by at my future apartment home and University of North Texas because my mom hasn’t seen them yet. She seemed very pleased about where I will be living. And she LOVES Denton!

In the afternoon I met with my boss whom I will be working for the next year (or two, if all goes well). For the first time, I visited my work place…it looked gorgeous. There was definitely an upgrade to my standard of work environment.
I am really excited about the challenges I will be given in August. There seems to be a lot of student programs I need to plan and manage the student organizations. My boss is very friendly as well.
Later on we had a chance to explore more around the neighborhood and discovered that it is an “everything-in-one-location” place; everything from restaurants, shopping centers, and grocery stores (aka Wal-Mart)! I am in heaven.
We’re heading back to El Paso tomorrow morning. A 10 hour long drive but the trip to Denton was surely worth it.
Now, I am REALLY excited about my new life in Denton.
