I always love hanging out with my mom & dad. They are so fun to be around with. We went Olive Garden for lunch specials; their unlimited soup-salad-breadstick menu is amazing.
Have I told you that my parents are the biggest fans of self-portrait these days? I heard that they have been practicing lately [I will see how much they have progressed].
We were saddened by the fact that public schools haven’t started their summer break yet; my brother, unfortunately, was one of them.
I always try to include him in everything I do. That includes the pictures.
Another perk for hanging out with the parents, especially with dad, is getting new things. I am now a proud owner of the Garmin 1350 nuvi GPS. I am directionally challenged and living in the Dallas area, the much-bigger-city, was probably making my dad nervous.
Also, I am in love with my GPS case…Pink!
P.S. Tomorrow embarks on our long traveling event: sequence of Lubbock – Denton – El Paso to finish wrapping up my life in Lubbock and to call Denton my new home.
