As of this morning, my boyfriend officially became a medical student @ University of Texas at Medical Branch!! The school hosted the lovely White Coat Ceremony for the Class of 2014, which included him.
It was exciting to hear his name being called on stage with his fancy “white coat”. He looked so happy, which made my total of 10 hour drive well worth it, even if we spent less than 24 hours together before I headed back to Denton this afternoon.
I am simply very glad to been able to make this trip & partake in this joyful moment as he enters to a new journey. He is one step closer to achieving his dream. Now, I hope he survives medical school.
