I’m sorry I don’t have much going on lately. My work week consists of working, going to class, doing homework, tutoring student athletes, and sleeping (repeat)… oh, and I’m counting down the days to Thanksgiving. You could probably tell that I miss home and my family.
Z continued his marathon of let’s-visit-Wonjee-again this weekend. Seeing him 3 weekends in a row is completely unheard of in our relationship, so while it felt weird to see him so often, it felt nice to have several weekends that involved him. I used my Olive Garden gift card (thanks mom & dad!) for our dinner on Thursday and made a trip to a frozen yogurt place that night. Have I told you it’s one of my favorite desserts?
“Lots of good food” pretty much sums up our weekend. We had the infamous Korean all-you-can bbq where I fell into food coma, but we also cooked several meals at home. I really enjoy cooking with Z because he’s extremely flexible with my demanding/picky nature of food and is good at playing both the executive and sous-chef in the kitchen, whichever role needed.
It seems like our marathon weekends will end here, though I am much tempted to visit him next weekend, because I need a weekend to focus on my school work. After all, I want a work-free Thanksgiving break, and I know I’ll be seeing him again in one and a half week. I appreciate November for giving us lots of opportunities to see each other. And thank you Z for making frequent trips. :)
