The Nerd Look

I’m back in the arms of my loving family for Thanksgiving.  It was a long journey up to this point and was all worth the wait.  I’ve been exceptionally spoiled today by many people, but notably from my dad.  My dad was in Korea for 3 weeks not a while ago for a business trip, and one of the things he always brought back in the past is my glasses.  I’ve always gotten my glasses from Korea – they’re stylish, relatively inexpensive to the high quality frames/lenses, and I just like theirs better.  My dad brought back two new pairs of glasses and sunglasses.  If you notice, my new glasses look much nerdy looking than the past, and that was my request. I’m sure if I wore this back in high school, I would’ve been subjected to nasty stereotyping, but I’m way past to the point of worrying what others think now.

As a lifetime glasses-lover, I’m loving the new collection of glasses and sunglasses I’ll get to wear for the next several years.  They’re just really comfortable on my skin, and honestly, I’m quite enjoying the new look.  I think my dad was quite pleased with the result.  Thank you, daddy!
