Happy Valentine’s Day! This holiday isn’t something that I obsessively like, but there is certainly more love in the air! Thank you, mommy & daddy & Wonho for ridiculously cute Valentine’s Day card. They are adorable.
Today was one of my late night shifts where I work in the office until 7pm. With Z being in surgery rotation these days, I hadn’t really thought of what we might do tonight. Around 7:30pm, I came home to these beautiful red roses and a bottle of red wine in our dining room! Z was anxiously cooking and asked me not come into the kitchen. I checked my emails and surfing the web until the whole place went dark.
I turned around, once again, to the dining room with gorgeous setting before my eyes. Opened windows letting in fresh air, candles, red roses, red wine, and a delicious dinner…it was romantic. Z made steak, gratin potatoes (just like the one we had on our wedding) with steamed veggies. We turned on the internet radio streaming famous 90s love songs. We giggled, talked about our day…just enjoyed the moment. We also danced a little bit.
Happy Valentine’s Day…talk about a perfect night with the husband. :)
