Moving to North

I may or may not have forgotten about this rather big announcement...

Oh Family is moving back to New York!!! Yep, there you go.  My dad has accepted to transfer within the company and that happens to be Western New York.  Actually, we used to live here before, very close to the Niagara Falls.  We left in 1994, so we are coming back to the same place after almost two decades.  How crazy is that?

I guess my family has a thing for moving from one border city to another one.  And they choose to live all the way down in the South and now all the way up in the North.  My family has a tendency of going from one extreme to another.  I am not sure how they are going to survive the cold and snowy winter because I am pretty sure they have forgotten all about it.  They loved the all-year-around warm and rainless (is that a word??) climate of El Paso.  My family is very adaptable, so I have no doubt they will be just fine.

What I thought would be a quiet year for the Oh Family is about to become a very chaotic one.  They are expected to move in the early summertime, so that means packing/selling the current house/buying a new house/unpacking are all happen to be around the corner.  Wish I could help, but I am kind of stuck here in Houston with my job.  I think moral support will suffice.

I am excited to return to New York for the holidays.  There have been unforgettable childhood memories there in the early 90s, so it's an amazing feeling to be able to continue creating new memories as an adult.  I would get to see the snow, the beautiful Niagara Falls, and enjoy scenery of the Northeast.
