Rodeo is apparently a big deal in Texas...I lived in Texas about 11 years, so I find this discovery a little dumbfounded. Anyways, I also didn't realize that Houston hosts a humongous rodeo show for about a month and I happened to live 5 minutes away from the venue!
Jaimy, Freda, and I made to the Rodeo Houston last Saturday (you see how I'm really late with my posts...) to eat unhealthy foods and watch The Band Perry's concert. I am not huge into country music but the band had a couple of songs that I liked/heard in the radio. We ate delicious corn dogs, and although I really wanted to eat jumbo turkey leg, I decided not to for my own good (=health). Before the concert was the livestock show, where we witnessed bull ride, bareback riding, tie-down roping and etc. It was pretty fun and yet nervous to watch.
