Birthday Weekend

This past Sunday was my husband's 26th birthday!  We spent his birthday together for the first time in our relationship.  He has been spending the last several weeks in Austin for a pediatrics rotation but came down for the weekend to be with me and Lilly.  We were all very happy.

I wasn't so diligent about taking pictures for some reason, so there aren't any pictures of the weekend.  But, I arranged a birthday dinner for him, inviting 8 of close medical school friends and their significant others at a Persian restaurant.  Z had the lamb shank and thoroughly enjoyed his dinner.  This weekend in general was very relaxing and did everything we felt like, from watching TV to napping for 3 hours.  This year has not been an exception when it comes to busyness; we just really needed this 3 day weekend to as lazy as possible.
