The winter in Buffalo never disappoints me, even as my first winter here in 20 years.
I woke up to a beautiful, icey world of Buffalo. Lilly went out and ran around with so much excitement, although she constantly ran to the neighbor's yard. Poor Z had to chase after her.
The branches started giving up after the ice began to weigh them down. The sound of the falling branches was a little terrifying and yet so natural. Let's just say, it sounded gorgeous.
We were also in a blackout for almost 6 hours during the day. We got the fireplace running and the space heaters turned on. We stayed warm and felt thankful that we were able afford a comfortable living.
