I hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving with your loved ones! Z and I spent the holiday in the Long Island area of New York with the entire Beh family. My stomach has been happy and tirelessly digesting whatever comes through the stomach every two hours. It's amazing how much a person can eat in one day.
To begin the series of my Thanksgiving posts, I wanted to share some of the pictures of Lilly and Subpoena. Lilly, as you know, is our adorable fur baby. She traveled with us by air for the first time and she handled like a trooper! I'm sure being in stuck in a small carrier for 8+ hours was not an easy task, but we are so proud of her for behaving so well. Subpoena is the adorably fur baby of Sheng and Alice, Z's second oldest brother and his fiance. We stayed at their new house during our stay and these two fur babies spent some quality time together.
Subpoena (naturally named by the two lawyer human parents) is only half of Lilly's size and generally more shy (and territorial, of course). Lilly was definitely the puppy of these two by relentlessly destroying Subpoena's toys and eating her meals and emptying her water bowl. They fed off from each other's emotions, so there had been lots of barking, whining, and begging. Certainly there were moments of agitation between the two, but they got along much better as they spent more time with each other. It was the best when they finally cuddled next to each other.
