It was nice and somewhat warm this afternoon...until Lubbock turned bipolar again. What a surprise (actually not really)! All of a sudden, I get massive weather alert text message from the Weather Channel (I know, I'm a nerd) about severe thunderstorm warning. Nothing happened. Just cloudy. Then, 10 minutes later, the rain started pouring and flooded my neighborhood instantly - the type of flood only Lubbock would have. Roads turned into rivers and everything gradually turned into some what balls - hail. Lubbock was suddenly attacked by ping-pong size hail for about 15-20 minutes... Great. Finally, the best part - we got a tornado warning!
Good thing was just when this whole thing begun, I was already back from school. Although, I seriously dislike staying in house alone in a thunderstorm, at least my car isn't damaged (and I'm not all soak and wet!).
Tonight would have been a perfect evening to make some hot chocolate, a nice movie, and someone to cuddle with :) But...I have to do some work and study. Boo, school.
P.S. Oh and I'm seriously tired of Lubbock's weather being bipolar.
