Have I ever mentioned how much I love exploring different places? If you haven’t, now you know. Sometimes being part of the consistent life fails to fulfill me. Work, class, reading, writing, and discussing can be really fun but I needed a change, even if it was for a day.
So, I finally took action in what I have longed for- going some place I have never been before. And trust me, there are TONS of places I have not been yet. My morning filled with excitement as I got my first full-amount paycheck from the school. To add more, the day was absolutely beautiful. It was simply breath-taking.
I took myself, a friend & her daughter to a place called Southlake Town Square. I wanted to go somewhere I could enjoy the weather and feel the urban setting in the area. A good coworker of mine introduced me to this place, and I was glad I had followed her suggestion.
Southlake Town Square was a beautiful outdoor shopping area, filled with apparel stores, patio restaurants, and fountains. On top of that, we had accidentally stumbled upon Oktoberfest, which just began around the time we arrived. We had lots of fun looking at unique arts & crafts.
We visited many stores we have never been before, like Crate & Barrel. I found my dream apron here…
For dinner, we went to The Cheesecake Factory & ate until we no longer could. I absorbed all of my love for patio dining & great conversations. The foods were spectacular & the cheesecakes (I had a tiramisu) was beyond heaven.

I am incredibly satisfied with my first out-of-Denton exploration & happily tired. I felt incredibly blessed to live near many amazing places; I became more appreciative of it since I moved from the West Texas. I love the variety & vibrancy from this kind of experience.

And…presenting my dream apron. :)
{I swear I am wearing clothes underneath. Please don’t think otherwise.}
