Over the weekend, me & two other classmates had the opportunity to visit Rice University in Houston. We were working on a class project that required visiting another campus besides the attending school, so we chose Rice.
I had to get up at 3:30am to carpool with friends & catch the 7am flight. For not being a morning person, the whole process was incredibly challenging but I was proud of myself.

We spent the whole day meeting several key members of this prestigious private university. It was indeed great to have a complete different exposure of the university system than what I had known my life. Personally, I felt the academically-stimulating atmosphere that I didn’t felt else where – I wasn’t sure if it had to do something with the architectural layout or the stereotype of a renown research university.
The campus was absolutely breath-taking. I particularly enjoyed the strange mix of laid-back & seriousness amongst students.
And I thought what a great place it would be to spend part of my career here.
