
I’m usually most stressed in April because everything is due. No matter how early you try to get things done, it always haunts you around this time. It’s also the busiest time for people in student activities because all the special occasions (EarthFest, International Month, etc) occur this month as well. Whoever schedules these national months need to spread out the celebrations evenly. I guess it doesn’t help that I am in full mode of job searching as well. Whenever I get stressed out, I begin to crave for late night snacks. It is certainly a coping mechanism – eating distracts me from stress and it makes me happy. Tonight’s snack is popcorn in which I haven’t had in a long time. But thanks to my boss, who added popcorn in her gift package to student employees, I gorged on it in 15 minutes. I’m definitely full and feel gross from the butter.
