| First cooked dinner in a week |

What a long couple weeks it have been.  Today was the end of the gruesome journey in one of the most difficult graduate school projects we’ve received. My group and I finally completed the 57-page assessment report based on the focus groups we’ve conducted with the Housing department. It was difficult to not be able to enjoy the beautiful weekends (several times), but it was my duty as a student to get this done. We are quite happy with the work we produced, despite juggling around among four people’s schedules. We’re excited to be presenting our findings tomorrow in class.

It was yet another beautiful day when we finally left Matthews Hall, the place we spent several weekends together, and the campus looked more peaceful than I ever knew. I immediately came home to clean up my abandoned apartment, did a load of laundry, and cooked my first dinner in a week. It’s funny how quickly your home turns into a disaster when you stop caring. I’m glad my nest is restored to normal (& clean!) now. I’m also glad I got my sanity back.
