Yesterday, May 29th, I concluded my graduate assistantship, essentially my life at University of North Texas. It was an exciting 2 years of my life that was filled with challenge, support, and eventually growth. I walked out of the building for last time feeling prideful and accomplished. I can’t thank enough of my two greatest supporters there – my boss, Lisa, no doubt and Kaitlin, a colleague that I felt so connected. I never imagined my professional life there to be so invaluable, considering how different the environment has been than most grad students have gone through. It has been an amazing journey, and I’ll always remember this place as I expand my professional career in higher education. It’s surreal to think that this place has now become the past, but I leave with cherishing great memories. So long, Discovery Park!
