I know many of you have been very curious about our new apartment home, so here are some pictures! I signed my lease (since we're not married yet, we had to sign lease separately) yesterday, as soon as I drove from Dallas, and got my keys! Our new home certainly did not disappoint us - it was wonderfully clean and spacious! After snooping around all of the rooms, I began to unpack my clothes and other women accessories in our nice walk-in closet while Z studied in the corner of our empty living room. I appreciated his company despite how stressed he has been with the upcoming board exam.
We have two impending moves next week. We plan on moving all of Z's things soon after his exam on June 5th. My major move will occur on the 8th with the help of my parents and brother, who will be meeting us up in Denton. This is just the beginning!
The door on the left is the entrance. Adjancent to that is a small closet. The hallway on the right leads to the bathroom (on the left) and our bedroom on the right (not shown).
Our BIG living room. I particularly love the high vaulted ceiling.
Z brought couple of his little coffee tables to study while I was unpacking.
Dining area
Kitchen
HUGE bathtub. I will be enjoying my bath very much.
Only one sink but spacious counter. The laundry machine is on the right but we plan on replacing with Z's front-load washer and dryer. We'll have to figure out where to awkwardly place the original in the apartment...
Houston is notoriously famous for its heat and humidity. I had already changed my shirt once because I was so sweaty.
Our bedroom
Another view of the bedroom. We have a pretty spacious walk-in closet as well. And a huge mirror!
I'm trying very hard not to dominate this closet
Right before we left for Galveston. This was around 10:30pm and we were very tired

Awe!!! You guys totally deserve it. The place looks fabulous. And you could always check with the apartment complex to see about moving and storing the extra washer/dryer unit. When I moved into my apartment in Lubbock they had to move out the mattress because I had my own, so you should ask. The kitchen looks great, everything looks great! Miss you Wonjee, and congrats! :)
ReplyDeleteYay for finally living in the same city! You and Z deserve it!
ReplyDeleteWow, your apartment looks amazing! Here's hoping you don't have to move again for a while! Moving is so exhausting, especially when you do all the lifting yourself. Congrats on your new job and good luck to Z taking his Step test this week. Looking forward to seeing the apartment when you guys are all moved in.
