Z and I really had a fantastic time when we took our engagement photos with our photographer Kasey. Kasey and I briefly communicated while we were both attending at Texas Tech. I was looking to interview a college student running a small business as part my business entrepreneurship project, and that’s how I knew her. Interviewing her as my class project eventually didn’t work out, but I was always curious to see how well she was doing with her photography business. I knew she wanted to fully commit to that passion one day, but it still seemed more of a hobby to her. It turns out, 3 years later, her business blossomed and she is an active, full-time wedding photographer in the Houston area! And so it began again – I contacted her a couple of months ago, reintroduced myself in hopes for her to remember me, and asked if we could meet to see her work. She remembered me all along, and I instantly knew after our meeting that she was going to be our wedding photographer.
I’m so blessed to have such a kind, dedicated, and caring photographer! As awkward posing in public can be, she really allowed me and Z to be ourselves. We were very natural and had lots of fun during our 2 hours session. This just past weekend, her super productivity led her to finish revising all of our photos. She then selected some of her favorites and posted on her blog. It was such an accurate portrayal of us, so I couldn’t wait to share some of the photos with you all!
