Easter day

I had a busy Easter day. I had to be at church by 7:30am for an early morning service. Although I was pretty grumpy about waking up so early (the life of a singer...), I seriously didn't mind the abundant breakfast food prepared by some of the church members. And it was just for us choir people. I went for another round of service @ 10:30am. I think choir sounded better then.

{Hanna and I were waiting for our second service after breakfast. Notice how I am no longer grumpy}

But Easter day was more fun because of the cookout I had with friends. It was sort of put together at the last minute - we still had all the delicious meats prepared by our male friends. It was a scorching 90-degree weather with a 20mph + wind, but that didn't stop us from having fun.

{It was windy. Us girls wished we had short hair, just for that time}
{Shawn and his dog Casey}
{We brought bunch of things}
{Erika forgot to open her eyes on this one, but I really like how this picture turned out}
{Charles and his boys were catching football}
{I believe they had quite a workout}
{Girls just sat and watched ^^}

I might have had some sun burn on my neck. I forgot to put sun block lotion there. I always forget one area then get burned. It's feeling a little crispy right now.

Afterwards, we went to Shawn's place and played Rock Band. Later on, we played on the expert level just for fun. It was quite hilarious.

{Rock Band!}

For dinner, we went to Olive Garden. We were surprised how it was actually opened on an Easter day (usually others don't open this day). I had my soup and salad. It was good.

Texas Tech has an off day on Monday so I have no school. It's my catch up time, though. I am behind with lots of things. At least I am done writing a book report now. I can start studying for exams tomorrow. And do laundry, too.
