Last-minute road trip does exist

I was on a very random road trip this weekend. I went to Dallas. It all happened so quickly; I remember only with the packing and the driving part. I arrived in Dallas 2am on Friday and left Saturday at 4pm. I had to be back early enough to attend church for Easter (otherwise I would've stayed for another day). Being in the church choir makes my job especially important this time of the year.

{Us being extremely lazy on a Saturday afternoon. This was before our picnic}

During that short time, I got to hang out with Z and his Dallas family. The day of my departure, we went on a picnic to White Rock Lake with some delicious foods that Z's brother, Nan, has prepared. All in all, a less-than-two-day reunion may not have been so ideal, but we both decided not to miss this opportune time. It was simply a great time.

{Cadillac turned into a boat...simply amazing}
{Our generous host couple: Nan and Audrey!}
{White Rock Lake is a habitat of many birds. We were so lucky to be able to observe them closely}
{This bird was eating cheetos}

On my way back, I became a crazy driver by taking some pictures of the sunset. I know, only I would do that. But it was sure worth it. Oh, and I made three best friends for road-tripping: McDonald's large coffee, McDonald's snack wrap, and a GPS (it wasn't mine, but I will sure own one this summer).

{Welcome to West Texas}
{Whoever invented the GPS is my hero}
{I can't believe I've managed to take this picture while driving. Nevertheless, nature is an amazing thing}
{Can you see all the windmills?!}

By the way, I came back home with my brand new webcam welcoming to me. I now have the exact same model as Z's - a Logitech Webcam Pro 9000. Simply awesome. I can video call with my brother again. Yay!

{Amazing quality}
