I believe that sometimes, as a women, a retail therapy is needed. Just like men likes to go Home Depot or Best Buy to look at things, women go to the mall. I reluctantly admit, I like to occasionally go shopping and look around clothes and, sometimes, buy them.
Today was a miserable day. I woke up with no voice, I felt tired for no reason, and I kept wanting to go back to sleep. This was when I decided that I need to get out of the house. If I couldn't be active by exercising, the least I could do is to walk around the mall. After attending the lecture by Toms Shoes' CEO, I went to the mall. Somewhere between that I had dinner with girlfriends, too.

{A pretty dress top I got at New York & Company}
{From my favorite store, Gap. Would you believe if I told you I got these two for less than $10?}
{Finally got a stud earring. Bigger than I wished for, but I like it nevertheless}
I might have spent some money, but a retail therapy was much needed. I feel like I have the motivation to get back on computer to finish my research paper.
PS- Perhaps, I should write a thesis about the relationship between women's tendency to shop and academic motivation. Clearly, it exists. Scientifically, I am not sure if it can be proven and supported.
