I have a tendency of being impatient when gifts arrive that are intended for the parents, so I forced them to open up yesterday….before Christmas day, I know.
My mom already knew what I was getting for her but I was still happy to see her get excited.
As for my dad, the gift was a complete surprise – a 22 inch LCD monitor, simply because I couldn’t handle the tiny 17 inch square monitor every time I was at home. I had everything set up by the time he arrived home from work. I know he didn’t say much, but he seemed extremely happy.
It’s 3:30am; my dad is still up watching movies from Netflix. I’m thinking that he’s really enjoying this widescreen monitor that he has never had before.
All in all, I find all my gifts for them a success, special thanks to my boyfriend who helped me find great deals & my brother who helped me set up the new monitor.
I simply hope that none of you had to force your friends or family members to open up presents before Christmas day, but I seriously have an issue with patience when it comes to around this time.

It's tradition in our family to open presents on Christmas Even instead of Christmas morning! Yeah... kinda funny... but totally... do it. :)
