Today at work, my boss bought all of us lunch as a way to celebrate the holiday. She ordered really delicious subs, brought her homemade cookies, & gave each of us a present. I got a Starbucks gift card (haha, of course).
It was really nice to just sit down & listen to finals that student workers were taking this week. These are all engineering students, so no matter how hard they tried to explain their materials, we weren’t getting it (meaning me & the boss lady). Watching them sort of reminded of my finals @ Texas Tech. I often stayed up till 3 or 4am studying…ok, more like all-nighters. I sort of wonder how I went through all those ridiculous amount of economic theories.
Anyway, we asked a student take a picture of us since we didn’t have one before. I think it came out nice so I wanted to share with everyone – these are who I work with everyday & they are truly awesome!
