Snow

Yesterday we had the Bae family from New Mexico over at our place for end-of-the-year gathering & celebration. Prior to their arrival the weather in El Paso was absolutely miserable, the whole 30-40 mph gusty wind, I-cannot-see-the-mountain kind of wind. We all absolutely hated; well, I hated it even more because Denton has no such thing (& I am loving it). By the time we were eating dinner, the temperature dropped down to the 30s, mud rain turned into icy rain, then into SNOW!!!

My goodness I never thought I would see snow in El Paso this year considering how warm it has been since I’ve been around. We were all joys & smiles watching the short-lasted snow, which probably will be the first & last snow of the year 2010.

Needless to say, the snow brought us much needed winter spirit; us Texans were very appreciative. Although I missed the snow, I am still glad that I don’t live in New York & its torrential snow.

I am not all that excited about the upcoming Sunday, as my time for another set of work & school are coming closer by the minute. Tomorrow I am having another date with my lovely brother (& trying Five Guys, a burger place, for the first time) & slowly packing my suitcase for the other side of Texas.
