[1] Contacts experience #2. Took a whole hour to put them on but my first full outdoor experience without glasses was truly awesome. Slight discomfort/hypersensitivity to dust & dryness is a little bit of challenge, but I can now consider wearing contacts as a life-changing decision. Still love my nerdy-looking glasses.
[2] Fulfilling my Asian food craving & witnessing Yolanda taste her true Korean food. So happy that she enjoyed Bibimbap.
[3] My first trip to Sam Moon. Supposedly a retail giant owned by a Korean; the store is completely filled with all kinds of accessories that women can ever imagine. An overwhelmingly busy place to shop but I appreciated the affordability of items. I bought a few things – a scarf, a FEDORA (Z will love me for this), earring holder, a purse hanger, and a clutch for fancy occasions.
[4] Enjoying alcoholic beverages at the Pour House, which quickly became our favorite place to drink this summer. Always love the atmosphere & the location of the place. Conversations with Yo during this time are the best. Love having her as one of the newest friends in my life.
[5] A relaxing movie viewing night of the “Perfect Stranger” with none other than Yo.
