Summer Morning

As surreal as it is, I was welcomed this morning by gloomy clouds and rain!  Rain has certainly become a stranger to people in this community; we are still in a marathon of three-digit temperature that is sucking out the lives of all the beautiful trees and grasses.  Let’s just say this summer has been amazingly hot thus far.  :)

It was exciting to use my blue umbrella, even if used for merely 10 minutes.  By the time I arrived to school, the rain stopped.  I wish there was more summer mornings like today.
