Summer is such an awesome season. If the weather permits, laying out by the pool is like a piece of cake. I have been out by the pool more frequently this summer, thanks to friends staying in Lubbock. Today was suppose to be my lazy Friday, but Madonna convinced me to go hang out with her roommate's friends. I give in too easily to things like that. Obviously food was involved. I don't regret the decision.
Even though wearing a two-piece bikini in a public with numerous toned-body college people is not my comfort zone...it was a lot of fun. I swam, tanned, talked with people in the pool, passed football, and ended with a pool volleyball. And good food is always a plus. I am very nicely tanned and thinking I will be very tanned by end of the summer. I plan on going out tomorrow again.
Friday ended with a movie night out with Saundra watching "Land of the Lost". I avoid spending big bucks on somewhat stupid movie but served as very good ingredient for entertainment. At least it wasn't "Napoleon Dynamite". Laughing makes me happy. Today was a good day.
ps... Apparently Z thinks he's going to win the poke war on facebook because of his awesome iphone. I beg to differ... ;)
