Workout adventure

Recently, I have decided to resume my workout. This has paused indefinitely since last summer: junior year consumed my life and soul. I suddenly realized the importance of exercising and led to having a new hobby.

{Another day for a 4 mile workout!}

My workout routine is not that rigorous. I don't feel the need to have a six-pack abs but I need to feel fit and relaxed. My routine consists of a 4 mile walking/jogging (preferably speed-walking) around 7-7:30pm every day, if my time allows. I found this amazing park that my friend Linda introduced - it has a 1 mile walking trail with beautiful scenery.

{I am intrigued by my own shadow...}

With my natural over-analytical behavior that I practice on a daily basis, this routine has been an effective way to ease my stress level. A beautiful scenery, great music, and the gorgeous weather allows a perfect workout moment.

I enjoy watching family picnic, children hanging out on the playground, and most of all, the numerous families of the geese and swan wandering. They are adorable and a joy to watch everyday. This is also the time for me to reflect my actions and thoughts. Often times, reminiscing the past makes me stay objective and helps me look forward to the future ahead of me. I guess this routine helps me to be more relaxed and have positive perspectives around me.

{An hour later, my 4 mile workout is complete!}

:-)

PS- Even at that very moment, I think about my boyfriend. Sometimes, I wished that he and I could have more of these moments together. Wouldn't that be wonderful...
