I bought some shares for the first time

With my dad's utmost encouragement, I bought shares from the stock market, for the first time. The market bell will ring in less than 30 minutes; we shall see what happens. It is kind of exciting to begin my own investment with my own money instead of borrowing my dad's. 

Originally, I was going to decide what to buy towards later of the week, but the stock market is experiencing an unexpected spurt of gains. I guess this is the world of investment - quick move, quick decision. Every second is important.
