Grandma & her grandchildren

For the longest time, my grandma wanted to have grandchildren time with us. She would always love that I can drive & speak English, while my brother be an enabled man…who can carry her purse. ^^  [and other heavy things, of course]

Our outing usually consists of going to Home Depot, Lowe’s, & Hobby Lobby for gardening & fabric stuff. Actually, today, we did all that except for Lowe’s. My grandma, after having a big lunch & a margarita at Chili’s, was pretty much done with her business & wanted to go home.

At Hobby Lobby, I was rather happy that she decided to consult with me for choosing fabrics, to make a new cover for our cushions, because she tends to only go for flowery designs. We already have too much of that design. I somehow convinced to get a simple design. I can’t believe she actually listened to me.

Except for my brother, who wasn’t so into gardening or fabric stuff, we had a decent time. Poor guy who doesn’t like shopping in general; he had to come out anyway if it was going to make grandma happy.

Now I am quite certain she wants to do this outing with her grandchildren again, before I leave for grad school. I think it’s really cute that my grandma wants to spend lots of time with us.

I am okay about that, but I don’t think my brother will – he probably doesn’t want to make another trip for gardening, again.
