Ending the year

I ended the year 2010 on a very good note. It all started with a lovely outing with my brother watching a movie (Yogi Bear) & eating lunch @ Five Guys for the first time. We, again, experienced the El Paso snow, which was absolutely magical. We shared a hot decaf coffee later, which helped so much warming up our bodies.

Later on, I got together with a couple of old high school choir friends Kateleen & Scott to celebrate New Year’s Eve. We were busy catching up & reminiscing on crazy high school choir moments @ Olive Garden, then continued our festivity @ Apple Bee’s. We enjoyed some fruity alcohol until it was just me & Kateleen. We spent the remainder of the evening @ her place watching the NYC’s ball drop for a new year. Spending the time with one of my closest friends was great, considering how rarely we saw each other these days.

Truthfully I am incredibly blessed to have an amazing year. I graduated from college; I moved (again); I started grad school; I got my U.S. citizenship, & the list goes on. I feel blessed to experience all the thoughtfulness, friendships, & love from everyone around me.

I really hope that year 2011 will be another extraordinary year for myself & everyone I love. Well, it looks my area just became a new year!
