Since I can’t seem to find any cohesiveness in yesterday’s happenings, how about I just list out what I have done in a chorological order? :)
[1] Yesterday’s weather (or technically yesterday) really excited me because it was in the 80s (but felt much cooler), wasn’t really windy, unlike the typical spring season you’d see in Texas, & was simply a beautiful weather. I worked full-time so I didn’t get to enjoy the sunshine. Boo.

[2] I went to Ally Training, which is a professional development for students affairs practitioners to gain better understanding of LGBT students (Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender) & the struggles they go through. Essentially, it serves the purpose for us to create a safe environment for these students with proper knowledge. Despite having many gay friends in life, I absorbed an incredible amount of information about them. In the end, participants were all given a certificate (not pictured) & a cute little button. It was a well-designed program.

[3] I began packing for my trip to Baltimore. I was sort of in a panic mode because I didn’t know what to pack. I struggled to coordinate my outfits (yes, I’m a girl) that were appropriate for a national convention. After seeking help via Facebook, I finally began packing with some certainty except for the fact that I ended up with overpacking, & I’m still not done. Traveling from Texas to Maryland is like a weather shock, from low 80s to sudden low 40s. I frantically searched for all my sweaters and a coat, & now my suitcase is fatter than ever. So yes, I’m a little concerned. But thank goodness for two free check-in luggage by Southwest. :)

Next post will probably be from Baltimore as I will be leaving bright & early morning of Friday! Please pray for my survival in this massive convention filled with people EVERYWHERE.
