I apologize for the late update in Baltimore! The convention has been kicking my butt, so I was constantly exhausted even after 8 hours of sleep last night. The truth is that the convention hasn’t even begun [this weekend was simply a preconvention stuff] but I have been actively involved with many of the preconvention events.
One of the memorable moments were hosting the reception for board members, convention team, & the leaders of ACPA at the President’s Suite. I had an amazing time networking with high profilers of student affairs, including that of the ACPA President & the Foundation President, while enjoying a great view of the baseball stadium.

{Sunday morning before ambassador training…I was utterly exhausted so I decided to take it easy for rest of the day}
Sunday was rather an easy day for both me & Suneera; we intentionally wanted to give ourselves some free time before the convention officially begins the next day. After each of us fulfilling some of the duties in the morning, we met with Suneera’s family friend for lunch & spent a relaxing afternoon with their family. As a bonus, we enjoyed a different environment of Maryland area, where it is more seclusive residential area. We visited the old town of Ellicott where the place was filled with interesting antique shops & low-key coffee shops. We were told that it regularly experiences the presence of ghosts & because of that we stopped by a historically known women facility [no, we didn’t go in…don’t worry!]
That evening, Suneera & I went to Uno for a nice dinner, where we constantly witnessed an influx of ACPA attendees with the same reason [the waiters seemed to a little overwhelmed when they begun to have groups of more than 6 people].
On our way back to the hotel, we had a little entertainment/silly moments to ourselves. We easily took m ore than 50 pictures, but I selected the favorites so here you go…
{What appears to be real people & food next to me are NOT REAL. We always freak out whenever we see these sculptures…}
We really try to make the most out of all our experiences. :)
