My family visited me last weekend & spent a wonderful time with me. Z also joined us & was nice enough to drive us to many places we wanted to go. We really appreciated his companionship. It was sometime in January that I last saw them so seeing them brought a huge happiness in my life, especially after a stressful week.

We did our usual outings to Koreatown, enjoying traditional Korean foods & running errands. I totally took advantage of them when we went for grocery shopping. My fridge is now nicely stocked for free! On Saturday afternoon, Z taught us how to throw football & was rather interesting to witness my dad trying very hard to make the ball "spin" (if you know football, you know what I mean). During the process, I jammed my pinky (little finger) so it's all bruised & swollen.
We also enjoyed watching a movie, eating yogurt, & demonstrating Wii’s Just Dance 2 for my parents.
Just when things seemed so perfect, the weekend went by too quickly & I had to say “goodbye” again as they departed for a 12 hour drive back home. I really hope to see them in May.
I’m spending my official spring break in Galveston & grateful that Z made the trip up here to pick me up. As a return, I have been diligently cleaning his apartment & wondering why guys let themselves pile their laundry so much (Z is actually a lot cleaner than other guys I know). I’m looking forward to some relaxing time, especially no writing papers for a week, on the beach & meeting some friends.
To all my friends & colleagues, have a wonderful & safe spring break!
