When I witness the series of interesting weather phenomenal lately, it makes me wonder what the mother earth is thinking. If you recall some of the earlier posts of weather-related topics, you will find that I have been welcoming the spring season in a pleasant way.
However, I found this week to be an odd case in general, weather wise & really hasn’t been helpful with the level of productivity I should be displaying. I really needed this week to be cheerful in a way that keeps me going with my homework, because I’m almost dying from staring at my computer too long with endless amount of typing. Instead, I am dealing with the ridiculous humidity/random hail and rain/unexpected chilliness in the morning/wind that blows me away/ whatever odd things you could of when it comes to Texas’ spring. Doing my hair has become pointless, the foggy mornings make me drowsy, and the lack of sun really drains my energy. All in all, it has been a difficult week to focus.

I wanted to share this photo that I’ve taken on Tuesday. I remember that day clearly – I was getting ready for my evening class but I was in a hurry because I needed to stop by at the post office first…until I thought my roof was collapsing. I suddenly got numerous text messages from everyone letting me know of the tornado warning and “hail”. That’s when I realized the rattling noise was caused by the hail. Lots of the students were outside staring at the random hail that struck our neighborhood after a perfectly sunny day. The hail was flying everywhere and I almost got hit by one of them. I managed to grab a hail to examine the size…quite big isn’t it?
Soon after, the hail stopped and all came back to peace. The humidity was skyrocketing close to 100%, and my well straightened hair became frizzy & ugly. At least I am thankful to have a really short hair, even though my boyfriend completely disagrees. And yes, I’m still complaining about the frizzy hair; it’s really the only thing a girl cares about in this kind of weather.
