Wow! What an incredibly long hiatus that was! I apologize deeply for those that wondered where I was this whole time, but my life as a grad student is hitting me really hard this month. I always felt that fall semester was busier than spring, but that was clearly not the case for this program.
Besides kicking myself for not being able to enjoy the warmth & wonderful weather so I can spend my weekends just typing out papers, I am doing fine. Yes, there seemed to be lots of ups & downs so far, but I’m hopeful that I will get through just fine.

Although this was taken place several days ago, I wanted to share my fun, late dinner experience with some of the cohort members. Minta, DaNeetra (& her daughter), Yolanda, and I went to On the Boarder to release some stress. Socializing has been a very lacking portion of our lives. We enjoyed our margaritas, delicious Mexican food, & reminiscing some of our favorite classroom moments.
I just have to say that I adore these people & the emotional support we have each other to get through with this program has incredible.
